Shadeform has officially launched its new service, Spot, aimed at helping infrastructure providers better manage and monetize their idle computing resources. The platform allows providers to resell unused GPU capacity through Shadeform’s marketplace.
According to the company, this capability is designed to help providers address the issue of rising compute costs. Shadeform estimates that by offloading idle time via the Spot marketplace, providers can reduce their total contract value by an average of 29 percent.
