AT&T CEO John Stankey has signaled that his company is not significantly concerned about competitive pressure from SpaceX regarding the use of low-band spectrum. Addressing the topic during a recent earnings call, Stankey urged market observers to maintain perspective on the situation.
“I wouldn’t over rotate on what I would call one carrier of low-band spectrum,” Stankey stated, suggesting that the entry of SpaceX into this specific area of the spectrum market does not necessitate a major strategic shift for AT&T.
