This new integration utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to allow users to connect their financial accounts directly with AI assistants, including Claude and ChatGPT.
By implementing this read-only connection, Finom enables its customers to perform queries regarding their account information using plain language directly within their preferred AI interface. The development aims to streamline the way business owners interact with their financial data by leveraging the analytical capabilities of large language models.
As of the current announcement, the integration is designed to facilitate faster access to account insights. The service focuses on read-only capabilities, allowing AI models to retrieve and interpret information from the user’s Finom account without initiating transactions or modifications.
