Global payments provider Ebanx has announced a new integration with Nigerian digital banking platform OPay, enabling recurring payment functionality for users. Through this development, Ebanx becomes the first international payments company to support OPay Direct Debit, a solution designed to facilitate recurring transactions directly within the OPay digital wallet.
The integration aims to streamline how recurring payments are processed within the OPay ecosystem. By leveraging the Direct Debit feature, the partnership seeks to enhance the transaction capabilities available to OPay’s user base in the Nigerian market.
