Jiangsu Global Laser Box Digital Technology (江苏铬莱铂数字科技有限公司) has announced plans to launch a global crowdfunding campaign for its latest additive manufacturing hardware, the GLB-M1, at the end of November. The upcoming device represents the company’s third generation of compact metal 3D printers.
The company, which focuses on developing smaller-scale industrial machinery, reports that it has previously successfully brought its first-generation compact metal 3D printing technology to market. According to official company statements, several hundred units of that initial model have already been shipped to international customers. That earlier machine was priced at $4,988, positioning the company within the lower-cost segment of the industrial metal 3D printing market.
Further details regarding the technical specifications and performance capabilities of the new GLB-M1 model are expected to be disclosed during the upcoming launch event.
