Endeavour partners with desalination firm Trevi to repurpose data center heat

Endeavour has announced a partnership with US-based desalination firm Trevi to integrate water desalination technology into its data center infrastructure. The initiative aims to utilize the waste heat generated by data center servers to support water purification processes.

The partnership focuses on repurposing thermal energy that would otherwise be exhausted into the environment, redirecting it to power desalination systems. According to the announcement, the companies are planning the initial deployments across Endeavour’s existing data center portfolio in the United States.

This development addresses the dual challenges of managing significant heat output from modern high-density computing environments and the increasing demand for sustainable water management solutions in regions served by large-scale digital infrastructure.
