A new proposal for a gigawatt-scale data center project located near Adelaide, Australia, has been announced. The development is designed to integrate its own dedicated power infrastructure to support the facility’s significant energy demands.
According to the project plans, the data center will feature an on-site natural gas power plant. Additionally, the proposal includes the integration of an adjacent Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to manage energy distribution and provide operational stability for the facility.
